I myself dislike bullying. I believe it should be banned.

Now with texting and IMing and MySpace and YouTube, bullies don't have to confront their victims face-to-face in the school-yard like they did in the days before computers and technology. Instead, they can hide in the shadows and torture their victims online. It's called "cyberbullying".

Well, I, for one, want to say something here. Bullying is not only realistic, but it's also a good topic for a writer like me to write and/or type up stories about as well. Plus, even though it does happen in real life as well as books, movies and music videos, it has gotten a lot of attention over the years as well.

One fictional bully who later changed his ways but could've taught the character Lindsay Fordyce from Cyberbully a lesson in bullying, is none other than Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series (portrayed by Tom Felton in the films). Here's how I would see it go:

Lindsay: Stay out of my face, losers.
Draco Malfoy: (to Lindsay) No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood. (Lindsay looks puzzled and angry at the same time, while her friends look at each other, surprised; Draco then turns to Lindsay's friends) Stay away from me, you witches. (He turns and walks away, as a now shocked Lindsay looks on, along with her friends)

What are your views on regular bullying and cyberbullying?
